Caramel Apple Dip

Page history last edited by Erin Mahoney 13 years, 2 months ago

This is the most delicious (but not nutritious) way to eat an apple

Sheila's Caramel Apple Dip:

You will need:

1 can of Sprite or 7 -up
Sliced apples
1 large caramel dip (You can buy this in a tub in the produce department of grocery stores)
1 package cream cheese (softened)
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

2 Skor bars

Combine the cream cheese, brown sugar and vanilla in a bowl. Beat until well blended and spread mixture on a shallow dish or plate.

Spread caramel dip on top.

Crush 2 Skor bars and sprinkle over top of the caramel.

Cover and keep refrigerated when not being eaten.

To serve:

Slice apples. Remove the cores but keep skin on.

If desired, submerge in pop. Shake off excess. (This is only necessary if you plan to have them sitting for a long while. It keeps them from turning brown)

Enjoy!
